Oreilly : My technology learning resource

My biggest fear as a software developer is skill set obsolescence. The technology stack experiences gargantuan shifts every 3 – 5 years. So how does one keep in touch with the technology stack du jour.

My go to resource on the web is Oreilly ( formerly known as Safari Books Online ). Tons of searchable books, videos and expert playlists across multiple technologies.

Not all books are available. That said every search on cutting edge topics has yielded books, live events, playlists and video tutorials that have been useful in delivering solutions. Having been a user of Safari Books Online (Classic) and now Oreilly, I would recommend every serious developer or team having access to this service.

Some of the recent uses of Oreilly that comes to mind is a playlist on Flutter, Python, Bare metal Kubernetes and microservices using Fast API. Content on Oreilly helped me accelerate learning and delivery of a solution. Hence the recommendation.

P.S : I am not being compensated for this recommendation.
